The long awaited day had come. For about three weeks my daughter had been waiting for Kit Kittredge to arrive at her Grandma's house - refreshed from her stay at the American Girl Doll hospital! Kit had been found by my aunt at a garage sale for a bargain price, although she was in fairly good shape! My mom saved her at her house for my daughter until I felt she was ready to own an AG doll.My mother met us at church after the kids' AWANA club meeting. Here they are in the parking lot with Kit in her hospital gown (so cute!).
Kit came home and my daughter enjoyed playing with her and the new clothes my mom gave her too. I felt bad that Kit only had summer clothes though, so I made her a cape and hat to keep her warm.
I look forward to making more things for Kit and my daughter to enjoy together!
